Ring of Keys, a place for survivors of sexual trauma

I am so excited to be re-opening my practice by establishing Ring of Keys: an all gender, queer-centering* therapy group for survivors of sexual violence and trauma.

We’ll meet on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-5:00 PM. The cost will be $50 per 90-minute group.

Ring of Keys is a supportive space for group members to learn about the impact of trauma on individuals and relationships, to understand its effects in their own lives, and to acquire and practice strategies for healing. We will eventually discuss all implications of life after trauma, from the practical to the philosophical. Members are asked to prioritize consistent attendance as much as circumstances and health permit.

  • Post-traumatic stress disorder: what does this really mean and do I have it? Does it matter?
  • Why does the world feel so alienating now? Why do I feel like a different person? Why do I feel so angry at or scared of the wrong people and things?
  • Does “just talking about it” really help? What if I can’t? What if it just makes me feel worse?
  • Am I going crazy? These reactions don’t make any sense.

A group like this can be healing or triggering depending on many factors. Please email or call me to discuss if this group is the right fit for your needs.

* Cisgender and straight survivors who are comfortable in queer spaces are welcome
